| Since 1997, Push Hard Lumber Company has been operating as an old-fashioned saw milling business, doing work that ranges from converting old boards and beams into mantels, to making picnic tables and benches out of cedar wood. Called Push Hard Lumber Co., which was named for a wood lumber business that Rudd Montgomery’s great-grandfather operated in Quincy, Fla., in the 1930s, Push Hard Lumber operates on 18 acres of land at 4635 N. Fairmount Rd. Signal Mountain, Tennessee. Push Hard Lumber Company is owned and operated by Rudd & Rebekah Montgomery. Our Heart Pine Lumber is from reclaimed timbers from the turn of the century buildings and other recycled sources. This lumber creates beautiful and natural rustic furniture.
